Welcome, Sherlockians! It's time to start planning to attend the 2007 Canonical Convocation & Caper in Door County, Wisconsin.
The dates for this year's Caper will be Friday through Sunday, September 28th, 29th and 30th.
The venue will again be the Waterbury Inn in Ephraim. For anyone who has never attended this marvelous event, it is set in a beautiful vacation destination on the peninsula of Wisconsin between Lake Michigan and Green Bay. The Waterbury Inn is an all-suite condominium/hotel that offers many amenities including an indoor pool and hot tub for relaxation and a great location for sight-seeing, hiking, bicycling and shopping. The Friday and Saturday night sessions will feature speakers presenting topics of interest to Sherlockians. The Friday night pizza and beer party affords a chance to mingle with old friends and make new ones. Saturday night will feature an Ice Cream Social. A film festival will be offered in the lounge both Friday and Saturday evenings.
On Saturday, the famous "Sherlockathon" will be run. A combination rally/scavenger hunt/quiz for teams, it has been the centerpiece of the CCC since its inception. Various quizzes and contests will also be held throughout the weekend, beginning on Friday before the formal opening.
On the second page of this site you will find a registration form. Please complete the form and forward it to us e-mail by clicking on the submit button. We will print out the form and return it to you with a SASE for your convenience in remitting the registration fee.
The third page contains hotel information. We've listed the types of suites available at the Waterbury Inn and the prices. Registrants must make their own arrangements with the Waterbury Inn, but a block of rooms has been reserved for us, and the Inn offers us their best rate. The rooms can only be held until June, so be sure and place your reservation before then.
